City League has partnered with Spewak Racing to host middle school cross country races in St. Louis City. Spewak Racing is a non-profit, membership-based, inclusive team which provides opportunities to race and train together through community and team events. Members of Spewak Racing are partnering with City League to plan, execute and manage the cross country races within City League’s cross country program.

“We are so grateful to partner with City League,” said Mark Spewak, founder of Spewak Racing. “We feel cross country and all sports, for that matter, should be accessible to all members of the community. City League’s vision and mission align with our organization’s goals which makes for the perfect pairing.”

Founded in 2021, City League is a non profit organization that partners with schools in St. Louis City to reduce the barriers for schools to sustainably develop and implement school sport programs and extracurriculars. City League has a vision to empower youth to realize their interests and talents for both personal and greater good.

In its founding year, City League partnered with 12 middle schools in St. Louis City, serving nearly 600 student-athletes across four sports.
